"Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things that you didn't do than by the ones you did do...Sail away from the safe harbor. Catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore. Dream. Discover." Mark Twain

BELOW - Port side detail showing chain plates. Note that by locating these inboard the boat sails much closer to the wind than others with chain plates attached to the outside of the hull

Bow after recoating deck with Awlgrip + nonskid

New Awlgrip coating shown with base of windlass reinstalled and foot switch for windlass visible.

Cayo de Agua, Los Roques, Venezuela

Surrounded by reef and rock, this is the most deserted part of Los Roques, a national marine park offshore. We found the snorkeling equal to the Bahamas.

Guacarapo Bay, Golfo de Cariaco, Venezuela

Anchored in the Golfo de Cariaco far from worldly cares. No risk of hurricanes, easy access to groceries, friendly people and safe from prevailing winds and waves. Our base for nearly 3 years here in Venezuela.

Brittania Bay, Mustique, south of Bequia

Hideaway of the rich and famous... a lovely place to visit but we would not want to live there. Snorkel off the back of the boat! Walk around an area that looks like a gigantic park.

Friendship Bay on the South side of Bequia

Another crowded anchorage... we find our happiest moments are in places like this. Just N of the Grenadines with an unfortunately dead reef stretching all along the east side of the island.

Sunset from West Bay, New Providence, Bahamas

Cockpit view as another day of cruising draws to a close. A very wierd architect has a huge house right there and he played "The Phantom of the Opera" every evening at sunset.
